1961- El 14 de junio de este año nace en Kent, Reino Unido.
1975- Boy George siente la inclinación por la música pop, iniciando este año con su curioso look, gracias a una amiga, causandole conflictos en su escuela, la cual abandonó aos 16 años.
1981- Boy se recune con Roy Hay, Mike Craig y Jon Moss, con quienes crea el grupo “Culture Club”
1982- Realiza su primer debut en el programa Top of the Pops en la BBC, de la mano de su primer gran éxito «Do you really want to hurt me» el cual se convirtió en un éxito a nivel internacional.
1983 – Este año el grupo lanza su primer trabajo al mercado, el álbum es llamado «Kissing to be clever», con canciones exitosas como ,Time y I will Tumble 4
Meses después, lanzan su segundo disco Color by numbers, donde destaca el hit Karma Chameleon. Y canciones como miss me blind o Church of the poison mind
1984- Se publica el tercer álbum “Walking Up with the House on Fire”, ingresando en el puesto 2 en EEUU. Resaltando el éxito: The War Song.
1985- Este año Boy George sorprende a todos al confesar su adicción a las drogas, siendo este un golpe muy duro para la banda.
1986- Se publica el álbum From Luxury To Heartache, sin embargo, la sintonía con el público ya no es la misma. Aún así destacan temas como Move Away y God thank you a woman
Lamentablemente este año, es hallado muerto por sobredosis; Michael Rudetski co autor de el tema Sexuality
Participa en un capítulo especial de la serie «Los Magníficos» donde interpreta su éxito «Karma Charmeleon»
1987- Boy George inicia su carrera como solista, con el primer álbum Sold, con canciones como Sold, Keep in mind y Little Ghost sin embargo su adicción a estupefacientes continuaba.
1988- En solitario lanza internacionalmente el álbum Tense Nervous Headache, destacando algunas canciones como Whisper, You are my heroin y Dont Cry
1989 — Sale a la luz otro álbum titulado“Boyfriend”. Sin embargo Virgin Records prefiere realizar un disco recopilatorio titulado High Hat.
1990- Boy George incursiona en otra etapa e inicia la presentación del programa musical Power Station.
Ese mismo año saca el disco The devil in sister George, cuya canción más recordada es Everything i own
1991- Saca su nueva producción titulada: The Martyr Mantras, donde comienza a acercarse al budismo y tiene canciones como Jesus love you one on one y Bow Down Mister
1992- Obtuvo gran éxito en Estados Unidos con la canción The Crying Game.
1993- El cantante hizo su aparición en el single “More than likely” de PM Dawn, convirtiéndose en un éxito moderado.
1995- George lanza el álbum de rock Cheapness and Beauty. Destacando: Funtime (Singles) y Samething in reverse (Singles) y I will adore
1997- Se lleva a cabo el proyecto llamado Shallow, que incluye a Boy George y dos músicos de larga trayectoria John Themis y Ritchie Stevens.
Este mismo año se une a Human League y Howard Jones en la gira Big Rewind.
En agosto de este año aparecen en El Show de David Letterman, msotrándose juntos después de 14 años.
1999- Culture Club, lanza un nuevo disco titulado: Don’t Mind If I Do, con caciones como Cold Shoulder y Your Kiss are Charity, el disco termino convirtiéndose en un fracaso comercial.
George, hizo una canción con Groove Amanda llamada Innocence is Lost.
2000 – Protagoniza el musical de Londres Taboo, basado en la escena New Romantic de principios de los años 80.
2001- Realiza un cameo en la película española I love you baby (2001), protagonizada por Jorge Sanz.
2002- Lanza la colección U Can Never B2 Straight, que contenía temas inéditos. Este disco le valió las mejores críticas como solista.
2003- Bajo el seudónimo de “The Twin” el cantante experimentó en electrónica
2005- George lanzó Straight, el segundo volumen de su autobiografía.
2006- Lanzó pistas nuevas a fines de este año The Twin — Yum Yum, como Heres comes the girls
2014 – Culture Club se reúne para iniciar un nuevo disco y una gira por Reino Unido y Norteamerica, pero es cancelada debido a que se le encontró a Boy George un pólipo en sus cuerdas vocales, y si no se cuidaba sería un daño irreparable.
2015 — Saca sus propios temas como DJ, donde destaca el tema: Just Another Guy by Boy George
